This policy explains how [Buzz Data Desk entity] handles personal information collected through this website and in our communications with business owners and buyers. It covers website, lead, account and profile data, and the metadata we measure when an owner chooses to connect systems for an estimate. We do not copy or store the content of any company’s business records.
What we collect
- Details you give us through forms, email or bookings: name, email, phone, company and role.
- Information owners give us to build a profile: industry, headcount, region, systems, date ranges and approximate volumes.
- Basic technical data from your visit, collected through [analytics provider, or “we do not use analytics”].
How we use it
- To reply to you, schedule calls and build company profiles.
- To share anonymized profiles with buyers and make introductions both parties have agreed to.

Connected systems
Connecting systems is optional. When an owner connects a system to get a measured estimate, we request read-only access, using metadata-only scopes wherever the provider offers them (for example Gmail and Outlook message headers, never bodies or attachments). Where a provider has no metadata-only scope, content is read in memory only to count it and is discarded immediately. We keep aggregate figures such as record counts, date ranges, active users and quality scores. We never send, edit or delete anything, and an owner can disconnect a system at any time, which revokes our access.
Sub-processors
We use the following sub-processors to provide the service. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. We give at least 30 days’ notice before adding or replacing a sub-processor.

Who we share it with
Buyers may see anonymized company profiles. We share a company’s name and an owner’s contact details with a buyer only after the owner agrees to that introduction. We use service providers for email, scheduling and hosting. We do not sell personal information.
Outreach
We may contact business owners and officers using publicly available business contact information. Every email includes a way to opt out, and we honor opt-outs promptly.
Retention
We keep lead and profile data while it’s needed to support introductions, and for up to [24 months] after our last contact unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected].
